  1. To play with quicktime you need SounApp or other public domain player.

  3. Here is how to play your piece with SoundApp.

  5. Instead using play-file-p use play-file & launch-midi combination as in below.
  6. Use the same string in both.

  14. The it is up to the SoundApp settings to let it play through QuickTime.
